Stephen Day CHARM OF MAGPIES OOC backtagging yes threadhopping sure fourthwalling feel free to spoil him about the future, although he probably won't believe you offensive subjects ~victorian morals~ although stephen is far more tolerant over matters like gender and race than a civilian might be IC physical affection awyeah although it's Not Respectable flirting go for it, watch him get flustered or annoyed or oblivious fighting heck yes injuries talk to me about it but probably yes death talk to me first telepathy/psychic basic mental shields that won't keep a determined telepath out but might warn them off, and he's very resistant to mental suggestions due to the fact that he's quite good at those himself. magic abilities sensitive to and occasionally helpless to resist magic/energy currents. all of stephen's power is drawn from the atmosphere around him, so if everyone else in the room or the house is basically doing kinky sex magic, he'll be affected by the emotional tinge of that energy. he'll also be greatly affected if he fucks or is fucked by someone with a large amount of magical power, as blood or bodily fluids can transfer energy and basically get him juiced up and high. unfortunately in his world this is how practitioners go bad, lusting after outside sources of power that don't belong to them, and from there it's a fast track to "stripping" victims aka draining them completely and leaving them withered, dessicated corpses. more info about stephen's particular powers can be found in his application. warnings: coming from the period of history that he does, he's been raised in a society with Strong Feelings about topics like race, premarital sex and homosexuality. while stephen himself doesn't hold to most of these opinions, it's very likely that they may come up in conversation or in his thoughts, so expect mentions of homophobia and potentially derogatory Victorian terms. If you are at all uncomfortable with this, please let me know. I am happy to keep Stephen away from certain characters or never bring up certain subjects or use certain words or whatever is most comfortable.
